We are proud to announce the launch of the Sanabria Law First Generation Scholarship, aimed at empowering first-generation college students who are pursuing a career in law.
Our firm is committed to values of advocacy, justice, and service — values that first-generation students often embody as they overcome obstacles and strive for success. This scholarship is our way of giving back and helping passionate students achieve their academic and professional goals.
Scholarship Details
- Award Amount: $500 (can be used for tuition, books, or educational expenses)
- Number of Recipients: 2
- Application Deadline: July 15, 2025
- Winners Announced: July 31, 2025
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be a first-generation college student (parents or guardians did not earn a four-year degree in the U.S.).
- Be enrolled full-time in an accredited law school located in Georgia or Florida for the Fall 2025 semester.
- Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- Submit a complete application before the deadline.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following:
- Resume highlighting academic achievements, extracurricular activities, and work experience.
- One Letter of Recommendation from a professor, employer, or mentor.
- Personal Statement (500-750 words) covering:
- How being a first-generation student has shaped your academic journey.
- Your career goals in the legal field.

Scholarship Terms

- Recipients must provide proof of enrollment before disbursement.
- This is a non-renewable scholarship, but past applicants are welcome to reapply for future awards.
