Sanabria Law Partners with Local Schools to Provide Thanksgiving Meals

The holiday season should be a time of warmth, gratitude, and shared meals with the people who matter most. But for many families across Metro Atlanta, putting a Thanksgiving dinner on the table is a real financial strain. That is why Sanabria Law teamed up with local schools in the Atlanta area to sponsor complete Thanksgiving meals for 30 families in our community.

Giving Back to the Community

Metro Atlanta is home to one of the most vibrant and diverse communities in the country. It is also a place where the cost of living continues to rise, and many hardworking families are stretched thin. We connected with school administrators and counselors in the Atlanta and Alpharetta area who identified families that could use a hand during the holidays. These are families with children in local schools, parents who are doing everything they can to provide, and neighbors who deserve to sit down to a proper Thanksgiving dinner.

For our team, this was personal. Many of us grew up in families where money was tight, and we remember what it felt like when the community stepped in to help. Being able to pay that forward was one of the most rewarding things we have done as a firm.

How We Helped

We did not want to just write a check. We wanted to make sure that every family received a complete, ready-to-prepare Thanksgiving meal. Each meal package included:

• A full-size turkey
• Mashed potatoes and gravy
• Stuffing and cranberry sauce
• Green beans and sweet corn
• Dinner rolls and butter
• A homemade pie for dessert

Our team assembled and delivered the meals directly to the schools, where families could pick them up in a comfortable, familiar setting. School staff helped coordinate the distribution, making the entire process seamless and dignified for everyone involved.

Looking Ahead

This Thanksgiving meal drive is part of our ongoing commitment to being active, engaged members of the Metro Atlanta community. At Sanabria Law, we believe that the strength of a law firm is measured not only by the results it achieves for clients but also by the impact it makes beyond the courtroom.

We are already planning to expand this program next year, reaching even more families across Fulton County and DeKalb County. We also continue to support our community through other initiatives, including our First Generation Scholarship for aspiring law students and our partnership with local animal shelters to sponsor pet adoptions.
